We are looking for

  • In the course of a replacement, we are looking for a Data Protection Coordinator (m/f/d) full or part-time (32-40 hours/week) for our staff position with direct reporting to the CFO.

Your responsibilities

  • Implementation of data protection requirements and internal consulting on data protection issues
  • Supporting the departments in the implementation and compliance with data protection regulations as well as preparation and administration of the required documentation
  • Checking cooperation with business partners for data processing that conforms to data protection requirements
  • Processing of internal and external enquiries, notices and complaints under data protection law
  • Support in the processing and clarification of data protection cases, the documentation of procedures in the processing directory and Group-wide data protection reporting
  • Participation in carrying out data protection audits and data protection impact assessments
  • Ensuring data processing contracts with service providers
  • Management of the process of data subject rights and securing data subject rights (information duties)

Your qualifications

  • Successfully completed technical/university studies (Bachelor/Master) in economics, business informatics, law, ideally with a focus on data protection
  • Professional experience with sound knowledge in the field of data protection (BDSG, EU DSGVO) and data security
  • Strong project management and consulting skills
  • Good legal understanding and the willingness to undergo further training on a regular basis
  • Understanding business needs and the ability to identify and mitigate risks

Your profile

  • Fluent in spoken and written German and English
  • Design and implementation strength with regard to concepts, procedures, guidelines and work instructions
  • High IT affinity and thus interest in constantly new technologies
  • Good communicative skills, confident appearance and high ability to deal with conflicts
