We are looking for

  • To support the development of new, innovative solutions and expand our Research & Development department, we are looking for a full-time Software Architect (m/f/d) for Diagnostic Imaging Systems 

Your responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the technical design of applications and software platforms in our software projects 
  • Definition of architecture requirements and conception of agile architectures  
  • Review of the product roadmap with regard to technical feasibility 
  • Evaluation, further development and redesign of existing systems 
  • Support in the creation of technical solution concepts incl. development of proof-of-concepts/prototypes 
  • Proactive and constructive coaching as well as execution of corresponding workshops and trainings 
  • Definition of design principles, guidelines and style guides for software development 
  • Independent evaluation of new technologies and methods in the area of software architecture and software design 

Your qualifications

  • Completed university studies in computer science or a related field  
  • Extensive practical professional experience in software architecture (design methodology, software modeling, object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns) 
  • Practical experience in software engineering (specification, test-driven development, clean code, continuous integration, software life cycle management, agile development methods) 
  • Very good knowledge of the programming languages C# and C++ 
  • iSAQB certification an advantage 
  • Knowledge of functional safety in a medical device context or similar regulated environment desirable
